This policy explains which personal data DS-24 ASIST d.o.o. collects through the ds24asist.com website, for what purposes, where the data is stored and what rights you have. It is governed by the Law on Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Serbia and, for persons in the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What data we collect

You enter personal data yourself, through the forms on the website. We collect the following categories of data:

identification and contact details: full name, phone number, e-mail
company details: name, country of registration, tax (VAT) number
vehicle details: registration, make, model, VIN
vehicle location: description, link or coordinates
photos and documents you attach
technical data: IP address, browser details, time of submission

Breakdown reports are sent by the haulier's dispatcher and contain the driver's name and phone number. The sender must inform the driver that their details are being passed on to organise roadside assistance.

If you contact us by phone, we process the data from the call.

Purpose and legal basis

Organising roadside assistance after a breakdown report, handling Toll devices (ENP) and documentation requests, and replying to messages: processing is necessary to provide the service you request or to take steps prior to entering into a contract (Article 12(1)(2) of the Law on Personal Data Protection; Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Protecting the website and forms against abuse and automated submissions (IP address, browser details, Cloudflare Turnstile check): the controller's legitimate interest (Article 12(1)(6) of the Law; Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

The website uses no analytics or advertising tools and does not track visitors.

Where data is stored and who processes it

Data is processed by service providers the controller works with, to the extent needed to run the website:

website hosting and protection
storage of data and files in the European Union
sending e-mail
showing the map in the breakdown report form: the map provider receives the IP address, browser details and the map areas displayed, which show the approximate location of the vehicle. The map is loaded only at the Location step and sets no cookies.

Data security

The website works only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Photos and documents are kept in storage with no public access, and the operations centre opens them through links that expire after a limited time.

The website does not set its own cookies. Cookies that Cloudflare may set for security purposes are described in the cookie policy.
